Your own Wayback Machine for the sites that matter
Public archives capture pages occasionally and unpredictably. MeshArc archives the sites and sections you choose, on your schedule, keeping every version along with a record of what appeared and what disappeared.
01why build one
Why teams keep their own archive
- Coverage you control: every page in a section, every run — not whatever a public crawler happened to reach.
- Evidence you can rely on: a removal is only recorded when the run that found it reached enough of the site to be believed, and each snapshot records the sitemap the site declared at the time.
- Data you own: export pages, changes and sitemaps as CSV or JSONL, or push them to your own storage.
02who needs it
Who uses it
Researchers, journalists, librarians, legal teams — anyone who may have to show what a website said on a given date.
questions
Frequently asked questions
Is MeshArc a replacement for the Wayback Machine?
It complements it. The Wayback Machine is a public, best-effort archive of the whole web. MeshArc is a private, scheduled archive of the specific sites you need, with change reports and exports.
